Identify the observation before choosing a fix
An anonymous owner described a mouthpiece screen that obstructed again soon after cleaning. The same person reported a different result with a more settled top layer. Those observations generate questions about particles, residue, geometry and assembly. They do not prove a cause, a universal packing method or improved extraction.
Exact-unit procedures remain dependent on matching the supplied manual and component evidence. This page separates the report from a diagnosis and does not supply an unverified procedure.
Component matrix for verification
| Component | Evidence needed | Current limit |
|---|---|---|
| Mouthpiece assembly | Exact material, disassembly instructions and permitted cleaner | Historical manual refers to alcohol-free cleaner; do not replace with generic solvent advice. |
| Screen | Part identity, intact shape, cleaning instructions and approved replacement | Immediate obstruction does not establish whether particles or residue caused it. |
| Seals and coatings | Material-specific manufacturer guidance | No blanket soaking instruction. |
| Magnets and attachment points | Verified construction and manufacturer fault guidance | Movement may have several causes; no unverified adhesive repair. |
Separate competing explanations
Document where the obstruction appears and whether it is loose particulate material, an accumulated deposit or an assembly issue. Record what was changed between observations. A different grind, load geometry and cleaning state changed together cannot isolate one cause. A photograph can document appearance; it cannot measure airflow resistance, chemical recovery or absorbed THC.
Rights-cleared close-ups and confirmed part names are still needed for the original troubleshooting evidence. Generated diagrams may identify generic questions but cannot substitute for photographs of the actual unit or a measured result.
A fit problem is a separate question
A mouthpiece that moves or no longer seats as expected may have debris, misalignment, damage or missing parts. This article does not diagnose which. Seek the matching manufacturer or supplier's guidance for a suspect component rather than applying glue or heat near an air path. The calculator's repair entry records expense, not permission to perform a repair.

Reference-manual component matrix
The linked Sunshine manual's English care section distinguishes the mouthpiece assembly from the oven. This is a document check, not confirmation that the anonymous owner's unit is the same revision. Match the unit and instructions before treating this table as applicable.
| Component in the reference manual | Documented approach | What this does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| Mouthpiece tip and air-path assembly | Identify and disassemble only the parts shown in the matching diagram; the text specifies alcohol-free cleaner and drying before assembly | Permission to soak a complete magnetic assembly or expose every material to one solvent |
| Filter and silicone parts | Keep their identities and positions separate during component checks | A replacement interval, chemical resistance or compatibility with another model |
| Oven | The English care text identifies brush/swab cleaning | Permission to pour liquid into the electronics or modify an obstruction |
The original observation does not identify a chemical cause for a changed magnetic fit. A useful record would show the exact component, approved cleaner, concentration if relevant, contact time, drying and before/after condition. Missing details remain unknown. This article does not diagnose an adhesive failure or recommend an adhesive repair.
A recurring obstruction case, with its limits
The historical owner report described obstruction returning after cleaning, at times characterized by the owner as happening always. That wording describes the report, not a measured failure rate. There is no complete denominator of attempts, standardized before/after airflow test or inspected historical image. An obstruction photograph was referenced on 20 September 2026, but its original has not been inspected here.
The later report preferred a more settled top layer compared with the earlier loose-fill advice. Packing, particle distribution, screen condition, assembly and cleaning could have changed together. It would be premature to select the settled layer as the cause of a changed result. The earlier assistant packing advice is not a manufacturer's specification or an experiment. A personal preference cannot override applicable loading instructions.
The cleaning history contains method descriptions but does not establish that each material tolerated the method. The actual cleaner label is unavailable, and its earlier identification came from an assistant. Brand, ingredients and concentration remain unverified. Heating used for cleaning belongs in the charge record as cleaning, without treating the historical action as an approved technique.
| Candidate explanation | Observation that could distinguish it | What is still unknown |
|---|---|---|
| Loose particles near a screen | Existing original showing the obstruction's location and actual component | Still image cannot quantify airflow; particles versus deposit unconfirmed |
| Accumulated deposits | Documented condition before/after an applicable cleaning step | Cleaner identity, contact time, drying and repeat conditions |
| Assembly or fit | Matching component diagram and current seating view | Whether a required part was missing, displaced or damaged |
| Load geometry | Comparable records with other conditions unchanged | Historical simultaneous changes prevent causal isolation |
These are competing hypotheses, not a ranking. No photographed color proves chemical damage, and no shape proves that an adhesive failed. The magnetic-fit question is separate from recurring screen obstruction. Without evidence linking the events, do not merge them into one failure story.
Keep the document and actual unit separate
The available document is a reseller-hosted Sunshine manual, with revision/date unestablished. English printed page 16 separates the mouthpiece assembly from the oven and identifies alcohol-free cleaner for the mouthpiece. Printed pages 9 and 11 contain conflicting power-button counts. That inconsistency needs manufacturer clarification; it is not resolved by choosing whichever instruction sounds familiar.
A current-state view can help identify the accessible screen, empty chamber or seated mouthpiece. It cannot retrospectively verify the September obstruction, the cleaner used then or a hidden attachment's condition. Keep original records and current views separate. Where inspection would require unsafe disassembly, leave the field unknown.
For an unresolved fault, use the exact model and component description when seeking manufacturer or supplier help. The financial log may record an expense without endorsing the repair that produced it. A useful next record documents what is known, what changed and what remained unknown.
A generic component tour
A chamber, screen, mouthpiece, seal and attachment point are separate components with different jobs. A generic diagram can help name a question; it cannot establish which material or part number is in the owner's exact unit. Use the matching diagram and part identifier before applying a cleaning method or ordering a replacement.
For loading, record the intended chamber, material, applicable instructions and actual fresh amount. Chamber capacity is not a personal dose. A settled top layer in an anonymous observation is not a universal tamping recommendation. Finer particles, load geometry, deposits and assembly can vary together; changing them together cannot isolate a cause.
Cleaning frequency needs a defined interval: after a fresh load, after a timed heating cycle, or when the matching instructions specify a task. “After every session” is ambiguous if one load is reheated. Record what the interval means before inferring effort or cost. Continue with the accessories and capsule checklist.

Source checks, editorial review and publication are separate states. A link alone does not establish that a claim was reviewed.
